What is it?

The Painterly Studio is an online learning community that provides clear instruction for painting and drawing, a reason to show up create and play, and an active and inspired community of like minded creatives.

Each month, you'll receive a variety of unique and inspiring invitations to connect to your creativity and deepen your artistic skills.

Created to be a flowing stream of inspiration, it’s impossible to fall behind so jump in and play whenever you're able!

No matter where you are on your artistic path, The Studio offers a supportive artistic community with the perfect balance of accountability and freedom. 

Whether you are a seasoned painter or a complete beginner, you’ll find new approaches and techniques to attain a deeper understanding of light and color and an excellent reason to keep showing up to what matters most.

Meet the Instructor

Hello! I’m Jessica Rose an artist and designer.

I teach creatives how to capture the beauty of the subjects that inspire them.

Here at The Studio, you’ll find a variety of immersive online courses and virtual gatherings. I created these resources to provide you with the knowledge and community needed to help you create with confidence and inspiration.

As a dedicated outdoor painter, I enjoy sharing my adventures and insights painting with gouache, watercolor, acrylic, and oil color.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our Live Community Art Gatherings, and featured workshops are held once a month. Bonus Goodies are posted on the fourth Saturday, and weekly Daily Creative Prompts will appear every Sunday.
    Replays of live classes will be available in the Replay Library.

  • This is really up to you. Members are encouraged to jump in and play whenever time and inspiration allow without the pressure of "falling behind." Each month, there will be about 1 hour of live and prerecorded content (with replays available), in addition to simple daily prompts, invitations to create on your own, and prerecorded techniques and tips videos.

  • All content will be available for the duration of your membership. All replays will be posted in the Replay Library. Videos are not downloadable.

  • You'll need a solid wifi connection to access the information and videos, in addition to any art materials you're inspired to work with. You'll find a list of my favorite supplies, and I’m happy to answer any other material questions that arise.

  • With clear instruction on drawing and painting, classes are designed to be an invitation to create in your way, supported by an inspiring community with space to ask questions.

  • The Studio is designed in a way that it’s impossible to fall behind. Jump in anytime that enrollment is open!

  • There is a special "space" in our Community platform called, "Fresh Paint" This is a supportive place to post your work and see what your fellow Creatives are working on. You will always have the opportunity to ask for feedback or not.

  • Simply email me at hello@jessa-rose.com when questions arise. Thankfully our platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate.

  • When you choose the month-to-month option, you are welcome to cancel your Painterly Studio membership at any time. Note, you will lose access to the content as soon as you cancel.
