Photos can be a great source of inspiration in the studio. However, they do have their limitations. Learn tips and tricks to evaluate your photo reference to glean all the important information needed to create a painting full of color and light.

Our first project for this month’s featured workshop will be focused on drawing. So have that photo you’ve always wanted to paint, your sketchbook and favorite drawing tools ready.

I will be using a medium sized sketchbook, an assortment of pencils, erasers, tracing paper or transparency paper (with wet erase pen, either option will be fine). See you then!
